  The American Airborne Divisional Recon Platoon provides the paratroopers with accurate recon so they can complete their mission.
  
  The platoon’s fast jeeps are well-armed with .50 Cal machine-guns to blast their way through if needed.
  
  The 101st Airborne Division relied on the speed of the jeep to keep them operational, while the 82nd Airborne Division armoured their jeeps to protect the crew.
